Feel free to explore the pages under "Learn More" to get details about how therapy can help you.

Below are some thoughts that lead many people to counseling.

Some examples:

  • “If I hear my boss say that one more time, I’m quitting.”

  • “Will I be a good parent?”

  • “He cheated on me. I’m heartbroken and don’t know whether I should stay or go.”

  • “Between work and taking care of the kids, I feel like I have zero time with my wife. The only time we talk is when we’re discussing plans for the day or bickering about the next time we’ll have sex.”

  • “My dad was diagnosed with cancer. He’s my rock, and I’m scared.”

  • “I love my boyfriend, but I don’t know how to talk to him about spending so much time with his friends. I’m afraid if I bring it up he might just leave me.”

  • “What if I’m single forever?”

  • “I was raped, and I’ve never told anyone before.”

  • “Now that I’m adult, my relationship with my parents is changing, and I’m not sure how to navigate that.”

  • “I can’t have a baby.”

  • “I’ve always wanted to start my own business, but I’m terrified it will fail.”

  • “She wants a divorce. How will we tell the kids?”

  • "I used to be active, but nothing sounds interesting to me anymore. Some days it's all I can do to get out of bed."
